La Biblioteca

Poem inspired in the moment

The story unfolds
across the bottles
and through the years
as we turn pages
of hopes and dreams,
of children and cats,
our narrative curving
like the twists
of plots devised
and scripts unbidden;
for everything
always changes,
and yet these
friendships endure.
